Talent Acquisition Manager


Forming part of ARQ Group’s Advisory team, our People and Performance unit specialises in providing strategic HR advisory services, recruitment solutions and generic as well as bespoke training and development programmes.

As part of this unit’s growth, a vacancy has arisen within our recruitment pillar for an experienced Talent Acquisition Manager with a flair for people and in possession of strong sourcing skills to spot the right talent and ensure a positive candidate and client experience. The selected candidate will be expected to:

 

Responsibilities:

  • Be involved in the full recruitment cycle sourcing talent for both internal and external clients, including the selection process for candidate placements.
  • Nurture relationships with candidates providing career advice and ongoing support.
  • Initiate and develop strong relationships with clients to understand and assist with their resourcing requirements.
  • Develop internal efficient processes and deliver to exceptionally high standards.
  • Determine staffing needs, forecasting, and developing talent acquisition strategies for clients.
  • Report on unit and individual targets and KPIs on a quarterly basis.
  • Keep abreast and retain a strong knowledge of the talent market to guide and advise clients, candidates, and internal stakeholders.
  • Work well within a team, provide coaching and ongoing training as necessary to ensure continuity and succession planning.
  • Carry out general administrative duties that are required for the successful fulfillment of the role and functioning of the unit.
  • Assist and provide support on other assignments entrusted to the team within the People and Performance unit, including ad hoc HR duties that are relevant to the role.

 

Qualifications & Attributes:

  • At least three years’ experience within the recruitment and talent acquisition space.
  • Possess excellent communication skills to interact and negotiate with clients and candidates at all levels as well as having an overarching understanding of strategic organisational needs.
  • Strong command of the English language.
  • Ability to work with a team and possess strong interpersonal skills.
  • A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to prioritise and deliver within tight time frames.
  • University Degree in Psychology or Human Resources or another relevant field, will be considered an asset.
  • Conversant with standard software packages, proficient in Microsoft365 and be ready to learn company-specific software if required.
