Corene Ellul

Corene Ellul is a Certified Public Accountant, a member of the Malta Institute of Accountants and an accounting manager at ARQ. Her key practice areas include direct and indirect tax advisory, tax compliance and accounting.

Having successfully completed the Bachelor of Commerce degree followed by the Master in Accountancy course at the University of Malta, Corene pursued a Master of Arts in Taxation, achieving a distinction in her dissertation addressing the taxation challenges of a digitalised economy. Prior to joining ARQ, she was an accounting manager at a local corporate service provider, predominantly focusing on the Blockchain ecosystem. In view of her technical knowledge and professional experience, Corene delivers tailored training sessions on international taxation, as part of a course recognized by the Chartered Institute of Taxation.

In her initial stages of her career, Corene followed a traineeship programme with one of the Big 4 firms which provided her with valuable practical experience in the audit industry. During her traineeship, Corene was seconded to a gas-and-oil company in Krakow, Poland whereby she had the opportunity of working in a highly international environment.
