Paul was Chief Executive Officer of Deloitte, Malta – having held this position for twenty three years up to his retirement from this position on 31 December 2013. He was also responsible for a number of clients operating in various sectors of the economy. He served as a member of the Accountancy Board for eight years between 1988 and 1996 and is a former member of the Council of the Malta Institute of Accountants. Paul was also the Chairman of the Institute’s Risk Management Committee and served on the Independence, Ethics and Regulator Committee.

Currently, Paul acts as an independent non-executive director serving on a number of Boards and Audit Committees.
