VAT Reporting

VAT reporting rules vary between countries. The complexity of VAT is often overlooked and fines and penalties are imposed for non-compliance. Furthermore, it is a challenge to keep abreast with the continually changing VAT legislation. ARQ can take the burden of VAT Compliance off your shoulders.

ARQ’s VAT reporting solution uses data from our accounting system to produce VAT reports which comply with local filing requirements.

ARQ’s accounting team assists with the preparation of periodic VAT Returns and the Recapitulative Statements, ensuring timely submission to the VAT Department. We also assist with Intrastat reporting – a requirement for companies that trade across EU borders – and with the preparation and submission of declarations for companies registered under Article 12 of the VAT ACT. Our team also assists with refund applications, computation of partial attribution, filing objections and appeals and the preparation and filing of adjustment forms.  We team up with our ARQ Tax specialists, liaising to provide support to clients in the course of tax audits or other investigations by the VAT department.

How we do it
