Administered by Residency Malta Agency and grounded in a robust legal framework, the programme offers a structured and reliable pathway to residency, supported by rigorous due diligence and clear application procedures.

Who May Qualify
The programme is open to non-EU, non-EEA, and non-Swiss nationals and their qualifying dependants who meet the applicable eligibility criteria, including:

Application Process
The application process is structured and managed through licensed agents:
- Submission of the application
- Comprehensive due diligence and background checks conducted by the authorities
- Issuance of an approval in principle
- Fulfilment of investment, property, and contribution requirements
- Issuance of the residence certificate and biometric card
Financial Requirements
- Applicants must rent or purchase a property in Malta.
- €14,000 minimum annual rent for properties in Malta or Gozo;
- €375,000 minimum property value for properties in Malta or Gozo.
- Mandatory donation of €2,000 to a Malta registered NGO.
- Government Contribution of €37,000 for the main applicant only.
- Non-refundable administration fee of €60,000 for the main applicant only.
